kryillos stavros the phantom dragon / blade for hire Having lived for over seven thousand years, it comes to no surprise that Kryillos mostly seeks out pleasure and entertainment to fill all the time in between. His attention is captured by the jingling of coins in a bag and the appearance of wealth, and he can easily be bought. Ah, forgive me, rented. He refuses to be bought, though you can rent his loyalty and services until your money runs out. Kryillos may be a blade for hire, but he is willing to do anything for you as long as you have a means of payment. Use his body as you wish: burn down your enemies or warm your bed. For the most part, Kryillos will keep his identity as a dragon secret. He goes around acting like he is merely a skilled human, though anyone with a keen eye will be able to tell he is anything but human. Unless you are old enough to have met him on the battlefield centuries ago, you will not know of his dragon form, nor will you know of his connection to the Phantom Wing of lore that helped both sides in their wars for thousands of years, only to disappear before anyone could catch him. You can find him in the streets of any town, roaming in the wilderness when the hustle and bustle of civilization bores him, and just about anywhere. He will not near castles unless invited, though he does eyeball them in passing because money. He is open to all plots! Just be careful when trying to befriend him or even romance him. He's terrified of the thought of someone leaving him again, and he will go to great lengths to make sure that he never grows attached. Possible Plots: -- The Master: Having known servitude from his youngest years, it would come to no surprise if someone finally managed to slap a collar around his neck for more than the allotted amount of time while he's paid. He will not take kindly to it unless you play your cards right, though he might be less against the idea if he finds you cute. -- The Phantom Chase: If there's anyone out for finding cryptids or perhaps someone old enough to remember his feats during the earlier wars, they might try tracking him down to drag him back to their kingdom. Or, maybe they just want to meet him. Either way, he'll be completely weirded out by someone knowing his dumb alias. |
